recent floodings in Kerala have affected thousands of poor people. a large number of families has been shifted to relief camps for the first time within a month. Managing trustee decide to make a clique consist of volunteers. the first stage has been providing cooked hygienic food packets and essentials in the relief camps and to households in flood-affected areas. Navajeevan is providing thousands of food packets daily and distributing kits containing food grains and essentials to flood-affected low lying areas like Thiruvarpu, Arpookar, Vaikom. the second stage was to arrange shelter homes at the trust for patients and their bystanders who have no way to go home. while visiting the camp, managing trustee realizes that it is not the end of the program its started only because their painful words that ” thousands of helping hands were available at camp but no one is there to rehabilitate us on our home. the third step has been providing financial assistance and relief materials like furniture, food grains, bottled water, medicine, and dresses. A large no. of generous persons supports the activities with money and materials. educational institutions also have come forward to participate in the relief supplies.
